Information used for the app

Shop and product information

To create a catalog, the app reads the shop name and currency, plus product and variant titles, product status, gift-card status, SKUs, prices, image URLs, and image alt text. It does not request Shopify customer, order, inventory, or product-writing access.

Authentication information

To authenticate catalog requests, our service stores the shop identifier and Shopify OAuth session information, including the access token, granted scope, and expiry. Shopify's install screen may list store-owner personal information because Shopify says installed apps can access personal information associated with a Shopify account. Lineform's catalog flow does not query or use store-owner contact details.

Catalog details entered by a merchant

A merchant can enter catalog terms and a buyer inquiry email address or HTTPS ordering link. In this release, those fields are used in the browser while the page remains open to prepare the document. The app does not provide a server-side catalog library or store buyer-ready PDF files.

Website and support information

The site and app process ordinary request and diagnostic data needed to operate and protect the service. We do not add a first-party analytics integration in this release. If you email support, we process the message, contact details, and any information you choose to include to answer your request.

How we use and share information

We use the information above to authenticate the app, show product choices, prepare the catalog selected by the merchant, provide support, protect and operate the service, and meet legal obligations.

The service is hosted with Railway. Session data is stored with Railway Postgres in US West (California, United States). The service providers that receive information in connection with the service are: Shopify (commerce platform and app authentication), Railway (application hosting, database, and operational logs), Cloudflare Email Routing (routing support email), and Google Gmail (receiving support, privacy, and security email).

Retention and deletion

Shopify session information is retained as follows: while the app remains installed and the session is needed for app access; session records for a shop are deleted when a verified app-uninstall or shop-redaction webhook is processed.

Operational logs are retained as follows: Railway's current Hobby workspace retains application logs for seven days; logs can include request and service diagnostic data.

When Shopify sends a shop redaction request, the app deletes matching stored Shopify session records for that shop. The app supports Shopify's applicable privacy webhooks and does not store Shopify customer records in this release.

Your choices and contact

Email support@pureimaginationapps.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information we control. Tell us your shop domain and the request. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines and may direct you to Shopify for information that Shopify controls.

To verify a request, we use the following process: We verify shop-related requests through Shopify's authenticated merchant context or by checking a reply from the shop's known business contact. We do not ask for Shopify passwords.

Service availability

Lineform Catalogs is offered to merchants in the United States. Users must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the Shopify merchant.
